Meet Annie

I haven't blogged for a while, not because there's been nothing to blog about, but because there's been too much. How could anyone start to blog about the things that have been happening in Australia this past week? All too painful, even from the other side of the country. It has just seemed to get worse and worse.

But now, I just have to introduce Annie (short for anniversary?). She arrived yesterday - by coincidence, exactly on our anniversary - and she's every bit as sweet as she was...only bigger! 'Annie' was my grandmother's name and my mother assures me that Gran would be 'tickled pink' at me using it for my dog. I just hope Annie the Dog is not as mischievous as Annie the Granny!

Awwwww....with a face like that, no wonder you fell in love with her!

So sorry about the horrible fires too. It's all just so sad.

No, of course not, Brenda. Butter wouldn't melt in her mouth. ;)

Your Annie looks gorgeous! I know you'll treasure her.How could you not? My two dogs are fourteen and fifteen and have given us so much pleasure over the years. The time has just flown and I can't believe we've had them for that long.

Love your blog, Kate!
